Billboard has just reported that Tekashi 6ix9ine’s TattleTales album streams included merch bundles in his overall first-week sales count. The artist had previously criticized Billboard for their “unfair” practices. He claimed that he was blackballed from the industry and over 100,000 of his merch bundles were disregarded by Billboard.

After news broke that his album projections went from 150K to 50K, DJ Akademiks speculated that this may have occurred due to Billboard disqualifying album bundles. His album debuted at No. 4 with roughly 53,000 album units earned, earning 6ix9ine his third Top 10 Album. Of the 53K units, around 32K came from album sales via various merchandise and album bundles.

It looks like the rainbow haired rapper is just gonna have to take an L on this one.
