Kanye West took to Twitter today to announce that he refuses to release any new music until his record company, Universal Music Group, and his publisher, Sony, free him from their contracts.

Kanye claims that he is the “New Moses” and that he is willing to sacrifice everything to give black artists a platform. He states the music industry and the NBA are modern day slave ships.
