Tekashi 6ix9ine has resorted to handing out CDs in the streets of New York after numbers indicate his projected album sales are way lower than expected. The infamous troll 6ix9ine went to the streets after being blackballed by the streaming giants Apple Music and Spotify.
6ix9ine went on Instagram Live to complain about his album being blocked from the home page by both Apple Music and Spotify. He feels that the industry is rigged because his new album TattleTales has been banned from the home page playlist.
Additionally, the rainbow rapper’s projected sales may take an even bigger hit because its speculated that a portion of the sales wouldn’t be counted based on restrictions with merchandise bundling.
So what do you do when your album flops? Give out CDs on the streets the old fashioned way.
